I definately want to thank Judi for everything that she does for all of us, I know it has to be a lot of work and I do really appreciate it. So thanks again Judi.

November 07, 1958 self-employed Imagedirectly.com Married 3
hello
I have been married for 28 years.  Mike and I started dating in high school.  He went to Jeff Davis, though.  We both graduated from Auburn and moved to Minnesoto for 9 years.  Mike was an engineer at 3M and I taught H.S. Science.  Thankfully,  Mike got a job at Boeing in Huntsville and we made it back to the beautiful south!  Mike started his own business and we have 2 businesses now.  We have 3 children. Jason graduated from Birmingham Southern and is working for an engineering firm in Birmingham.  Erin is a student at UAH.  Our youngest, Brendan is in 9th grade.  I only work a few hours a week, so I am involved in church activities, scouts, and my family would say I am an exercise fanatic.  I look forward to seeing everyone at the party!

Hi everyone,

I have loved reading about everyone!  I went to Auburn and have been married to Tommy King for 25 years.  We have lived in B'ham since 1984.  We have three girls 22, 19, and 16.
I have lost track of so many old friends.  Peggy Clark Bradford and I have stayed close and see each other several times a year.
Thank you for the website-this brings back so many memories.

Civil Service Married 2

Hello everyone,
I graduated from Auburn in 1981, married, taught math for 5 years, moved to Warner Robins GA, had 2 children, and accidentally got into civil service with the USAF.  My first husband died in 2004, and I recently remarried to Kenny Hickox.  He is retired from the USAF and is now a government contractor. We just moved to Huntsville and I'm very happy here.  I'm a contracting officer for the Missile Defense Agency--which means I spend your tax dollars but try to keep the USA safe from terrorist. My oldest daughter, Dana, just graduated magna cum laude from AU and is an interior designer in Pensacola.  My youngest daughter, Jennifer, is a sophomore at AU.  They are wonderful girls and have managed to succeed even when faced with the tragedy of their father's untimely death.  I am so grateful for them and my husband.  God has truly blessed me, and I give him all the glory.

June 08, 1959 Marketing & Advertising Committed Relationship 3
After High School I continued working for a couple of years before I began attending AUM. It was at this point I realized I was well aware of where my talents lie, (sales), and college was a waste of time. So, I gave it up and began a varied and interesting journey into sales. I received THE best training one could ever receive in my first outside sales position. I sold cookware door-to-door. That was a trip.  I have a million and one stories from that adventure. It was at this time in my life I met and married my babies’ mama. She was Ms. Coosa County 1977 and I had to use all my sales ability to close that deal. We were married 19 years and have three grown men as sons, 24/25/29 two daughters-in-law and a 2 year old grandson.

After getting solid on-the-job experience in sales, all in Montgomery, I entered an industry I was destined for at an early age … radio.

I spent 23 years in radio and then on April 1st of this year a blast from all our pasts and I became partners in an Advertising Agency. Larry Stevens and I became partners in SMI Advertising … Stevens, Markwell, Ingram Advertising. I remind Larry everyday I first met him when he MC’d a dance my 8th grade year at Goodwin Jr High. He really appreciates me doing that.

I must say one of the most rewarding times in my life was an 8 year span in which I was a bi-vocational Music Minister in the Southern Baptist Church. God used this time in my life to build a foundation in my spirit that would come in handy later. I am, “always thanking God for everything in the name of Jesus Christ”. (Ephesians 5:20)

November 07, 1957 Executive Director, F. Scott & Zelda Fitzgerald Museum Divorced
I am glad to see this site, as it is a great way to keep in touch with everyone out there. I am in a "second career" as a historian and museum director, and I hope to move into teaching in the Post-Secondary field after next summer (sure beats working for a non-profit).
My first career was working for the Alcohol Beverege Control Board, but I realized that "what I wanted to be when I grew up" was a historian, so I went back to school and took it seriously this time. I am extending an open invitation to all of my classmates out there to come visit the Fitzgerald Museum, as we have some neat things here. If you can not come to the museum, then come by Ft. Toulouse and see me. I volunteer there as an historic interpreter, and I get to meet some interesting people along the way. Sorry for the reenactor photo, but I really do not have a decent "regular" photo to share.
